Cork City Breastfeeding Drop-In Clinic

I am the proud operator of the City Lactation Breastfeeding Consultation Clinic in Ballyvolane, Cork City. My clinic is dedicated to providing both urgent and non-urgent breastfeeding support in a caring and compassionate manner. If you require assistance with breastfeeding, I am here for you.

You can find my breastfeeding clinic open every Thursday from 9:30am to 2pm at the Blackshields Therapy Clinic, just a short 5-minute drive from Blackpool Shopping Centre. Whether you prefer to schedule an appointment or drop in, you will be warmly welcomed. I understand the urgency that comes with breastfeeding issues, and I encourage you to seek the support you need.

I will always prioritize seeing you as swiftly as possible, ensuring your concerns are addressed promptly. During your clinic appointment, which typically lasts approximately 60 to 90 minutes, I will take the time to thoroughly review your breastfeeding history, assess your infant’s oral health, and evaluate your breastfeeding techniques. Together, we will create a personalized feeding plan designed specifically for you. Additionally, I will provide ongoing support through follow-up phone or email consultations for a duration of two weeks.

The clinic price for a session lasting 1.5 hours is €150, and it’s important to note that this cost is often reimbursable through private insurance. I strive to make my services accessible to all families in need.

Here are some of the areas in which I can provide assistance:

  1. Latch and positioning: I will guide you in achieving a comfortable and effective latch, ensuring optimal feeding for both you and your baby.
  2. Sore nipples and issues with flat or inverted nipples: I understand the discomfort associated with these challenges, and I will work with you to address them.
